Have you ever noticed how dogs are afraid of vacuum cleaners and hair dryers? The answer is simple; dogs are afraid of loud things and the unknown. These objects are foreign to dogs, so when they make these loud noises, it’s a trigger for potential danger. With their keen sense of hearing, hairdryers and vacuum cleaners may sound like never-ending thunderstorms to them.
Although dogs may have the same general characteristics, they also have their own distinct features as well. Some have their own unique quirks and inclinations. While most dogs may be afraid of loud objects, one dog has proven that he adores hair dryers.
The wind on my face
Or maybe he loves the air being blown out of the dryer. From the video below, the dog seems like he is having a great time having wind blown to his face. He would even open his mouth to let some of the air in.
The dog would go near his owner while she is holding the hairdryer, which is pointed at the dog. He would open his mouth and paw at the dryer at the same time. He tries to direct the blower to his face, repeatedly widening his jaw for more air to gasp. Some times, we would even put the nozzle of the blower directly into his mouth.
You would see that he is really enjoying himself. He jumps and jumps and would sometimes bark in glee. He looks hilarious while he is doing so, but he doesn’t care. Maybe its the sensation of the air hitting his face nerves, or perhaps he enjoys the warmth of the air. Whatever reason there may be, this is undoubtedly one happy dog. The clip is only around 50 seconds, but its more than enough to bring a small one your face, maybe even a chuckle or two. Check out this funny video below.
