The Bravery Of A Woman Who Protected Her Dogs From An Attacking Bear Was Captured On Camera

The Bravery Of A Woman Who Protected Her Dogs From An Attacking Bear Was Captured On Camera

Kathy Morgan March 6, 2023

A resident of Bradbury, California, captured some footage of her encounter with a wild bear. The footage shows a bear walking over the top of a wall. When the family’s dogs saw the wild bear, they barked and growled at it.

The bear didn’t seem to mind them and reached its paw toward one of the dogs. The dog’s owner ran out at that moment and attempted to push the bear away. She managed to grab her dogs and run for safety, but the bear came back for a moment before finally leaving.

Many people don’t realize how dangerous the outdoors can be for our canine companions. One of the biggest threats is bears. These giant animals are not only intimidating, aggressive, and scary, but they will kill your dog without thinking twice.

Pet owners should always take extra precautions to keep their pets safe. However, it can be hard to do at times, especially when we have other things going on in our lives. Nevertheless, we should make sure to never leave our dogs alone.

Not only can it cause them stress, but they might also run into wild animals that may seem friendly and harmless, but can become aggressive and dangerous if they feel threatened. Always keep them close to you so you can help them if they get into trouble. Also, remember to put them on a leash whenever you walk them outside to prevent them from running away.

Dogs also love to be with other dogs and people. But we must not forget that there are still some people out there who are so desperate to have a dog that they will steal yours. To prevent this, make sure you keep your dog close and never leave it unattended.

This includes protecting them from bears and other dangerous animals that might be somewhere nearby.

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
