Rocky Kanaka won’t let hard times stop him from doing incredible things for dogs. This time the famous YouTuber decided to create a hydro dipped dog cake. It’s a process of applying paint to an object using water and coloring.
Rocky is going to attempt the first-ever edible hydro dipped dog cake. The sentence itself is hard to pronounce. However, is making it equally hard?
First, Rocky made edible dog cake. This is the one he usually makes at his pet bakery. He also made smaller versions of it to give to his foster puppy. He is also using edible food color and coconut oil.
The first attempt didn’t go well. After dipping, the cake had chunky food color on it, which is not how it’s supposed to look like. Rocky then started again, but this time, switching to warm water instead of cold.
The second attempt failed to get color as well. Rocky tried a different approach. He dipped half of the cake on parts with more colors. He finally got the hang of it.
After finishing the mini-cakes, Rocky fed them to the three dogs. Kobe, the blind foster puppy, was the first one to take a bite. Flip and Zoey, the older dogs, also had their share.
Then came the real deal. Rocky’s main objective is to hydro dip the large cakes. Again, his first attempt didn’t quite get the colors to stick on the cake. He tried holding the cake from the bottom and dipping it upside down.
Finally, Rocky was able to get the colors to stick to the top of the cake. He tried it again, and just like that, there were two hydro dipped cake. All that was left to do was feed the cakes to the dogs.
Kobe took a large bite and gobbled it down fast. Flip did the same. Zoey, on the other hand, was only given a thin slice since she’s a senior dog.
