Turbo was a small puppy when he got dropped off at a vet clinic by a lady saying that she couldn’t keep him. He didn’t have front legs but that didn’t matter because the moment he came in, he instantly charmed the employees. And one specific employee named Ashley Looper fell in love with him that she decided to keep him and take him home.
Ashley knew that Turbo needed to have better strength on his hind legs so she started training him and doing little exercises to boost his leg strength. But even though they were making progress, it was still a bit rough for him. The sheer ability of Turbo’s hind legs just wasn’t enough so Ashley wanted to give him a cart so that he can have a lot more freedom to walk around.
The only problem is that dogs are only given carts when they are around six to eight months old. And she didn’t want to wait for so long and wanted Turbo to get used to it at an early age and be able to enjoy his life. That was why Ashley shared Turbo’s story online and not long after that, the story reached an aerospace engineer who fashioned Turbo his own cart.
After finishing the cart, the engineer immediately shipped it to Ashley so that Turbo can finally try on his new wheels. Although, unlike previous cart practices, it seems like Turbo wasn’t ready yet. Seeing Turbo’s hesitance, Ashley enlisted the help of her other dog to give Turbo the motivation he needed.
And true enough, that was just exactly what he needed. He eventually got used to running around in his cart and the next thing Ashley knew, he was zooming off. She also found Turbo a partner named Ruby who was in the same boat as Turbo. Despite the lack of limbs Turbo and Ruby are happily running around on their wheels and they are just unstoppable.
They just kept on rolling and lived their lives to the fullest. They are definitely an inspiration.
