This Pug Rejects Kisses From His Fur Mom And It’s So Funny To Watch

This Pug Rejects Kisses From His Fur Mom And It’s So Funny To Watch

Kathy Morgan September 10, 2023

There is no shortage of amusing drama if you have dogs. Even though they are generally cheerful pets, they are not immune to days when they feel down.

Take this dog, Sweet Pea, as an example. She is a kind dog that adores her parents with all of her being. On this particular day, though, she could not bear her mother’s requests for kisses.

We do not know what caused this furball’s bad disposition at that time, but she was not giving out any kisses. She’s simply not in the mood, and her mother didn’t seem to understand why. But the fur mom was rather insistent with her wish.

Sweet Pea turned her head away from her mother, who continued to make kissy-face requests. This further irritated the pug, so she huffed and buried her nose in the couch.

This amused her fur dad, and he joined his wife in requesting kisses. Now, the animal felt as though she was being portrayed as the villain. Why can’t her parents leave her alone for once?

The unamused pet turned around and showed her mother her back. This should be plenty to convince this human that she wasn’t in the mood, right? Wrong.

Mom continued to insist that Sweet Pea was being disrespectful. She raised her paw to tell her mother that she was serious about this no-kissing policy.

Her parents merely laughed, so the pet had to do one last act. Sweet Pea placed her raised paw on her mother’s face, which is her way of giving a refusal.

Finally, Mom understood. Mom took a step back, but the dog remained vigilant. She was aware that her owner had a talent for turning things around.

You are unlike anyone else, Sweet Pea. You certainly let your mother know you were in a foul mood. We hope that whatever caused you to be in such a state has already been resolved so you will be able to kiss your mother!

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
