Stray Dog That Was Injured And Terrified When It Was Discovered Has Undergone Rehabilitation And Is Now A Cuddly Friend To Humans

Kathy Morgan January 3, 2023

Thousands of animals are abandoned daily in several of the United States’ largest cities. This is sad, but it is the reality.

People who have founded rescue organizations to help these strays find a safe, permanent home away from the streets deserve our deepest gratitude. Individuals dedicated to discovering and rescuing terrified stray dogs and placing them in foster homes so they can be adopted make these organizations possible.

Hope for Paws is one of these groups devoted to rescuing animals from difficult situations. They help animals with medical concerns and find them loving homes.

One of their rescue operations dealt with a little dog abandoned in West Hollywood, California. The rescue team found Lulu, a timid puppy, hiding in the bushes.

The team was unaware that Lulu suffered from multiple tail, pelvic, and leg fractures. They learned this after taking her to a veterinarian.

The little rescue dog got corrective surgery for its bone fractures promptly. A fracture that had been present for 10 days revealed that the bones were healing and growing in the wrong direction. Lulu required three metal pins to correct her bone growth.

It is difficult to know what really happened to Lulu after she received the necessary medical care. I would like to imagine that she is currently loved by a loving family for the remainder of her life.

Hope for Paws guarantees that its rescue dogs are placed in loving homes so that they may live out the rest of their incredible lives in happiness and love, as every dog deserves.

The transformation of Lulu from a nervous and aggressive puppy to a lovable bundle of fur is touching. It shows that even the most fearful and traumatized canines are still capable of expressing unconditional devotion and care to their caring owners.

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
