Everyone’s excited about the upcoming Christmas season. Every time this festive season comes around, presents are the one thing everyone craves to receive.
Thus, an ecstatic puppy can’t wait for Christmas to arrive as it finds a way to climb inside its wrapped present. But, even if fur mom finds it hiding inside its gift, the doggo doesn’t budge from its spot and claims its present.
Ooh, what happened to this gift?
In this amusing footage, one can notice that a camera focuses on a gift-wrapped present. Yet, it looks like someone tore the wrapping paper as one has a glimpse of the gift’s contents.
Intrigued, fur mom, who’s holding the camera, decides to have a closer look at the scene. On and on she moves until she lifts off a corner of the gift wrapper.
Lo and behold, a dachshund named Rocket appears, sitting inside a doggy bed. But, even as fur mom catches the doggo red-handed, Rocky doesn’t budge from his current location and even locks gazes with Mom.
Mom, I’m sorry. I’m just too excited!
It turns out, Rocket’s too ecstatic to unwrap his present that he doesn’t wait for Christmas to arrive. Thus, in a bid to salvage the situation, the dachshund acts cutely to try and curry Mom’s forgiveness.
Rocket even stares at Mom again, silently pleading for her to leave him be inside the doggy bed. And, it seems the dachshund’s tactic works as Mom slowly closes the gift wrapper and steps back to allow Rocket to enjoy his Christmas present.
With the way it looks, Mom doesn’t have the heart to berate Rocket as it’s clear to see how happy he is with his present. Thus, to avoid missing out on the cute dachshund’s sneaky stint, watch the complete video below.
