Pig Becomes The Leader Of His Doggy Pack

Pig Becomes The Leader Of His Doggy Pack

Kathy Morgan May 24, 2020

Shelby Madere owns a chubby pig named Chowder. Shelby believes that her beloved Chowder bosses all her dogs around because she thinks that she is smarter than them.

Shelby compared Chowder to a three-year-old toddler who thinks that he can boss everyone around. Chowder rarely plays with his doggy siblings, but he still loves them despite not being in the mood to hang out.

Pig Rules Over His Pack Of Dogs

This woman saw a pig being kept in bad conditions and decided to make him her son. She brought Chowder home to her house full of dogs, and now he's the boss of all of them! Today on Odd Couples, watch Chowder and his dog BFFs go swimming, "sit" for treats and take family photos together 🐷💞🐶🐶🐶🐶

Chowder prefers being in his own world and does not want to be involved with the dogs’ goofiness. Shelby thinks that Chowder is too mature for his doggy siblings, which is why he likes to be alone.

Shelby recalled that her dogs often invite Chowder to play, but her pig does not care about playtime at all. Shelby shared that Chowder is like an old soul who enjoys his own company, but he likes to mingle with his doggy siblings whenever they are doing family pictures or eating snacks. Shelby said that Chowder always walks toward the camera every time she tells all her pets to come to sit still.

Shelby shared that her pig has earned the right to be treated like the boss in their household because he had a difficult life with his previous owners. One man gave Chowder as a gift for his girlfriend, but they could not keep him anymore.

Chowder was left alone on the side of their house and spent his days all by himself. Shelby knew that Chowder deserved a better life, so he approached the guy if she could take Chowder with her.

Chowder’s previous owner said that she could get the pig if she could catch it. Shelby proudly shared that she was able to get Chowder and could not be any happier that she can bring him home.

The dogs are obsessed with Chowder’s unique personality. The pups love Chowder, and they do not have any problems with the pig being the leader of their pack.

About The Author

Kathy Morgan

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
