People were confined to their homes when lockdowns were declared in many nations throughout the world. Staying at home for a day or two would not be a problem, but when the lockdowns lasted for months, individuals developed inventive, creative, and unusual ways to entertain themselves.
One dog owner said that his pet needed to be taken for walks and he thought of the best possible way to do so. Since going outside was not an option for people, the dog owner devised an ingenious solution for his dog to enjoy walks outdoors. To do that, he decided to use a drone!
Vakis Demetrious is from Israel and lives in Cyprus at present. He filmed Oliver, his beloved dog, while it was out for a walk. The video was then uploaded to his Instagram account. He even added a caption stating that during the quarantine, individuals should continue to stay at home, but should also ensure that their dogs are happy.
In the video, Vakis was seen using a drone to ensure that Oliver was able to go out and get some exercise done. During the stroll, the drone served as the dog’s guide and buddy instead of the owner. Vakis attached the dog’s leash to the drone, and he controlled it with a remote.
Oliver appeared to be okay with the situation even without his owner present. After spending many hours at home, he appeared to be thoroughly enjoying his time outside and fulfilling his longing for a really long walk.
The online popularity of the video of the drone walking the dog has reached millions of views. It has also been published and shared on other social media websites. Of course, who wouldn’t? During this pandemic, the entire thing generated an abundance of positive energy, which is what people really needed.
