Human Mom’s Reaction When She Saw Her Rescue Dog Play With Another Pup

Human Mom’s Reaction When She Saw Her Rescue Dog Play With Another Pup

Kathy Morgan November 6, 2020

Laura Alair went to an animal shelter to pick up a beautiful Pit Bull named Lillie. Laura admitted that she felt nervous when she saw how scared Lillie looked inside the car.

Laura recalled that Lillie was too frightened to go inside when she first got home. Lillie seemed more comfortable lying on the tarpaulin she had outside the yard, making Laura believe that Lillie has never been allowed in a house before.

Laura kept reassuring Lillie that it is okay for her to go inside because that is where she will live. It took Laura a while, but she successfully convinced the scared Pittie to go in and sleep beside her.

Laura recalled that Lillie acted so awkward whenever she was inside the house since she used to stay outside throughout her entire life. Lillie often shook in fear because every little thing, including toys, freaked her out.

Laura shared that Lillie was not fond of going out for walks. Laura believes that Lillie is scared that she would be taken back to the shelter whenever she is outside the house, which broke Laura’s heart to thousands of pieces.

Lillie eventually managed to find a spot she considered safe inside the house, and that was Laura’s green couch. Lillie made herself comfortable on the chair and slept in it whenever she felt like it.

Lillie also started becoming cuddlier with each passing day. Laura shared that Lillie cuddles with her whenever she is on the couch, and Lillie loves nothing but to do it all day.

Laura started working on Lillie’s anxiety by teaching her various doggy tricks to keep her mind occupied. Lillie eventually began going out for walks and making friends with other dogs, and Laura could not be any prouder of how far Lillie has come.

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
