Heartwarming Video Of Girl Singing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” To Her Dog

Heartwarming Video Of Girl Singing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” To Her Dog

Kathy Morgan October 1, 2020

Have you ever owned a pet dog when you were a child?  If you did, you must have had the best years of your life. Nothing will ever compare to the fun and laughter you have with your first dog.

This video will show you just how amazing the friendship of a little girl and her pit bull is. The kindness and love shown for each other is so heartwarming to watch, you probably would have wished for a dog when you were a kid as well.

Little children and dogs make such an amazing pair. A young girl named Scarley and her best friend, Lebowski, have been trending on social media because of their beautiful friendship. Lebowski happens to be a huge pit bull. But the canine, despite looking so fierce, is actually a softie at heart. He always loves to smile, especially when he hangs out with the little girl.

Through this video, the mother of Scarley aims to change the negative stereotypes people have on pit bulls.

While they have lots of photos and videos on Instagram which perfectly captures the essence of their friendship, the video that really pulls the heartstrings is the song that Scarley sings to Lebowski, which you can watch below.

The video starts with the cute pair playing together. Little Scarley starts singing the song, “You’ve got a friend in me” from the famous movie Toy Story. Though the lyrics may be very touching to hear, what makes the song more special is that the girl is dedicating it to Lebowski.

Look closely and you can see that Lebowski enjoys being sung to. As the video continues, you can see different clips of the pair playing, sleeping, eating together – almost everything they do, they do it together. Indeed, Lebowski is the perfect guardian and best bud Scarley could ever have.

Watch their precious moments in the video below and try not to cry.

Kathy Morgan

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
