Dog That Had Been Wandering The Streets For Four Years To Search Of His Deceased Grandfather Has Finally Found A New And Loving Home

Dog That Had Been Wandering The Streets For Four Years To Search Of His Deceased Grandfather Has Finally Found A New And Loving Home

Kathy Morgan December 2, 2022

Yong-Am spent several years in the mountains with her grandfather. They were often together and depended on each other a lot. But when the old man passed away, the poor dog was left all alone.

Yong-Am waited for her Grandpa outside their home, assuming that he had just left. She stayed put for so long despite him not appearing. She also went to places they visited together in hopes of finding him, but she was unsuccessful.

The owner of the farmland Grandpa and Yong-Am frequented decided to help the dog out of compassion. He regularly fed the dog, but it was all he could do. Yong-Am was also so suspicious of people that she did not even trust those who were friendly to her.

The dog’s eagerness to find her grandfather kept her always going from place to place. She looked everywhere for him. However, one day, she got caught in a trap and lost one leg. But this did not prevent her from pursuing her goals and she continued despite her condition.

Without someone to care for her, Yong-Am became dirty and her fur matted severely over the course of several years. She also kept on looking for her Grandpa.

Local rescuers soon intervened and devised a strategy to capture the dog. They were concerned about her health, so they decided to catch the dog as quickly as possible. They made all preparations necessary and left no space for error.

Yong-Am was trapped in her former home and had nowhere to go. She attempted to escape by chewing off the net that confined her. However, when she realized that she was safe, she calmed down and allowed the rescuers to do their work.

After four years of futile searching, Yong-Am was safe at last. She received the medical attention she had not received for a very long time, and she also got a haircut. She was reborn, and she began living life again with a new fur dad, who had cared for her a lot.

About The Author

Kathy Morgan

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
