Dog Taught Furmom How To Be Strong

Dog Taught Furmom How To Be Strong

Kathy Morgan August 30, 2020

Amber Pitcher visited a shelter because she had always wanted to adopt or rescue a dog. Unknowingly, that decision would eventually bring a significant change in her life.

When she first saw the pair of differently colored eyes, she knew right away that the dog who owns them was hers. Ariel was as shy and reserved as Amber was. She hated to be touched and would often keep to herself. Amber understood Ariel’s feelings.

Amber was a shy and quiet girl herself. Everyone was telling her that she needs to believe in herself more. It was Ariel, however, who helped her gain the confidence to step out of her shell.

The two of them helped each other. When Amber found information about a scenic overlook, she decided to go with Ariel. It was an unexpected 10-mile hike that led them to discover what they are meant to do together.

They stumbled upon mountains and got lost in the woods, but because Ariel was with her, they eventually arrived at their destination. It was the start of the many adventures they would spend with each other, hiking through storms, rain, and snow.

Ariel gave Amber the confidence to try something new and carry on even when the road gets rough. Ariel was always there for Amber through ups and downs, pushing her past what she thought was her limits.

For Amber, Ariel is her life-support, her best cheerleader who helps bring out the best and strongest version of herself. She could never have imagined nor expected how Ariel changed her life and allowed her to be the best version of herself.

Amber was so grateful to have Ariel in her life. Ariel is her best friend and only partner in life and adventures. Both Amber and Ariel are looking forward to more adventures together, more beautiful places to see, more beautiful mountains to conquer.

About The Author

Kathy Morgan

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
