Some dogs are truly privileged. They have everything a dog would need. They have a family that looks after them and a comfy house where they could sleep safely at night.
These lucky dogs are fed with good food. They have regular vet visits so their parents can keep abreast of their health. They get to visit the dog park and socialize with other dogs that are just as privileged as they are.
And, on weekends, some of these dogs are even fortunate enough to partake in epic adventure trips with their humans. Take, for instance, our featured dog. She goes by the name of Lucy.
Lucy’s human goes sailing and fishing whenever time permits. The dog gets to tag along. On one of these boating trips, Lucy meets a dolphin for the very first time.

In the video, we see Lucy standing on the edge of a boat. At first, we have no idea what’s in the ocean that has piqued the interest of the dog. And then we see a dolphin bobbing in and out of the water’s surface.
By this time, we understand Lucy’s rapt attention. One of the ocean’s most charming creatures has chosen to befriend her. And we can tell that the feeling is mutual.
The dolphin tries to get as close to the boat, and to Lucy, as possible. Meanwhile, Lucy tries hard to keep the dolphin within her line of sight. The two enamored animals are obviously enjoying their encounter.
Lucy’s almost the same size as the dolphin. But that does not scare our brave dog. She knows that dolphins are generally good-hearted.
We are not sure how long this encounter lasted. But surely Lucy and the dolphin had the time of their lives.
