Dog Is Frustrated Over His Humans’ Decision To Have Another Pup

Dog Is Frustrated Over His Humans’ Decision To Have Another Pup

Kathy Morgan October 5, 2019

Consent is important. Before we do something, it’s crucial that we ask all those involved if what we’re going to do is okay or not. The dog in our featured story was not asked for consent regarding his human’s eventual decision.

Meet Kevin. A furry medium size pup who’s been used to getting undivided attention from his humans, the Stroups. For four straight years, the Stroups plus Kevin lived a happy life.

The three were a tight unit. According to the Stroups, Kevin was a loving and cuddly dog. The dog would join them in bed every chance he got, just so he could snuggle with his favorite two-legged creatures.

The Stroups and Kevin had four years of exclusive bonding time. And Kevin liked it that way. Then one day the Stroups brought home something that would change their household’s dynamics.

The reason for Kevin’s sudden distress is a dog named Lyle. The Stroups brought home this black and furry pup to be Kevin’s younger bro. The couple’s intentions were pure and good.

Unfortunately, Kevin is not as excited about Lyle as the Stroups. In the video above, it’s obvious that Kevin’s having a difficult time dealing with the newest addition to their household. And the fact that Lyle is quite naughty and rambunctious does not make it easy for Kevin to warm up to his younger bro.

Meanwhile, Lyle obviously adores his older bro. He goes where Kevin goes. He does what Kevin does.

Lyle wants to hang out with Kevin as often as he could. This means that even Kevin’s once-precious nap times have been interrupted by Lyle’s presence. Kevin is trying to be as patient as possible.

The Stroups are hoping that one day Kevin and Lyle will become best buds. For now, they’re happy with the fact that there are no growling battles between the two.

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
