Travel bloggers Wesley and Enes were on the road when they spotted a puppy by the foot of a mountain in Cappadocia in Turkey. They found him so cute so they pulled over only to discover that he was covered with blood and what they believed was blue paint. Knowing that the temperature would soon drop, they agreed to take him to their hotel so they could clean him up.
Back at their hotel room, Enes gave the puppy they name Blue a warm bath and discovered he had a huge laceration around his ribcage. After cleaning his wound, they bandaged him up, and the puppy soon fell to sleep. At around 2 am, however, he woke up and screamed in agony.
It was difficult but the couple managed to find a vet who looked after the puppy. They have him three IV drips and a few shots to help ease his pain. They also took him in for ten straight days and ensured he healed properly.
Blue could have died on that same night if Wes and Enes did not pick him up. Thankfully, they stopped and checked on him. t was because of them that he survived.
Once Blue recovered, Wes and Enes came back and picked him up. He tagged along with them on their adventure. And as he spent more time with them, he gradually learned how to be a valued pet rather than just a street dog.
It was really so easy to fall in love with Blue and Wes and Enes hoped they could keep him. But because they knew he’d do better in a home that has a routine and stability, they began searching for his perfect family. They took him to Instagram and asked their friends and followers if any one of them would open their hearts to him.
Soon, their friends Austin and Tori reached out to them and offered the puppy their home. So from Turkey, Wes and Enes drove Blue to his forever home in Denver, Colorado. It broke their hearts having to say goodbye to him but it also felt great knowing he found the best family he could ever imagine.
Blue did not have a very good start in life, but he was fortunate that help came when he needed it. And because of that, he’s able to spend his days with his forever family.
