Being humble has been drilled into us since we were kids. While we tried to keep things that way, there are just some things that we couldn’t wait to show off.
This Corgi named Yummy certainly understood what we meant. That’s because he did show off when he got a brand new carpet all for himself.
We’re sure this pet didn’t want to be seen as a braggart. He just wanted people to appreciate that he had cool parents who love and dote on him.
We could understand that because when people show us something they’re particularly proud of, we get why. Yes, we do feel a tinge of jealousy sometimes, but it’s not the ugly kind.
Pampered pet
Yummy was stoked to come home one day and see the softest carpet laid out for him. He quickly picked up his ball and immediately enjoyed the softness that the carpet offered.
The corgi was a picture of pure bliss, and for a dog with a ball in his mouth, he stayed very still. Someone definitely approved the new addition to the living room, and we understand why.
Who wouldn’t want to relax on that after a long day? It’s like a cloud of fluffy whiteness, and no one’s immune to something that inviting. We’d lay there all day, every day!
Yummy couldn’t say a word, but his actions said it all. He was definitely feeling like the king of the world because mom and dad brought him a new carpet.
When you’re gifted with something like that, you thank your parents, and you show the world just how grateful you feel. Yummy did that and even made faces for the camera.
