Biden Unintentionally Draws Everyone’s Attention To His Dog-printed Socks

Biden Unintentionally Draws Everyone’s Attention To His Dog-printed Socks

Kathy Morgan January 2, 2021

Joseph “Joe” Robinett Biden Jr.’s love for dogs is one of the reasons why Americans voted for him during the 2020 US Presidential Election. During his campaign, he urged people to bring dogs back to the White House. As an aftermath, he gained the nod of approval from fur parents and canine lovers. After all, it’s been a while since people saw fluff balls living at the presidential residence.

Now, this is not a publicity stint. Biden has long shown everyone how much he loves canines. In fact, his victory has made it possible for Major, a rescue German Shepherd whom the Bidens adopted, to experience living at the White House. Joining him is his German Shepherd brother, Champ.

Biden has yet to be sworn in, but America’s citizens have already been following Champ and Major’s paw-sidential adventures. These pups frequently post updates on Twitter, much to the delight of their fans.

Making a statement

Among the updates that made rounds online revolved around the socks Biden wore to a meeting at The Queen Theater in Wilmington, Delaware. He was sporting a navy blue blazer paired with gray slacks and a red tie with blue and white lines. He had black loafers on his feet, but that’s not what caught everyone’s attention. People zeroed in on the dog prints on his socks.

Those present at the meeting loved that he didn’t use solid-colored socks to complete his ensemble. Seeing that he opted for a fun pair showed them how cool the incoming president of the United States is. Those who managed to take a closer look at the socks gushed over how cute the small light blue doggo designs were.

Jazzing it up

Biden’s funky socks became a topic of conversation for most people. It took a while for them to get over the incoming president’s keen sense of style.

About The Author

Kathy Morgan

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
