Kathryn Smith, a police officer based in St. Paul, Minnesota, received a life-changing call in 2017. The call was from a stranger who wanted her to attend to a homeless dog that gave birth while in a farm. Smith quickly rushed to the farm where a litter of adorable puppies greeted her.
The cutest addition to the force
Smith decided to bring home one of the puppies since she could not resist their cuteness. When she took the puppy with her to the police station, everyone’s attention was on him. Her co-workers even gave him the name “Sergeant Fuzz.”
They spend time with the puppy whenever things are stressful at work. Their tasks are always dangerous and challenging, but Sergeant Fuzz never fails to make their loads lighter. He’s the ultimate source of good vibes that is why they decided to hire him.
The cuddle officer
Sergeant Fuzz works as a cuddle officer at the station. He is required to report ten hours each week. His task is to bring positive energy, play with the officers, and cuddle those who are in need of cuddles. John Lozoya, one of the officers at the station, said that it’s fun to have Sergeant Fuzz around. He likes to play, but he loves being cuddled more.
Aside from playtime and cuddle time, Sergeant Fuzz loves getting belly rubs and gentle pats on the head. He is such a sweetie pie, that the department planned on having him trained as a therapy dog. This way, he can make more people happy.
While waiting for that time to come, the puppy spends most of his time with Smith and her co-workers. Aside from giving away cuddles to whoever wants, he also shows up at events to spread happiness and good vibes.
