A Heartwarming Relationship Between An 80-Year-Old Grandmother And Her Dog

A Heartwarming Relationship Between An 80-Year-Old Grandmother And Her Dog

Kathy Morgan October 5, 2019

The relationship between this grandmother and her dog is very heartwarming to watch. They have a bond that is very strong and can only be formed out of love and loyalty.

Kkamdol has been with this grandmother for over a decade. Since day one, he has never left her side. Where the grandmother goes, Kkamdol follows.

While this eighty-year-old grandma works, Kkamdol would wait until she finishes. He would also accompany her in her personal walks like going to a friend’s house. Kkamdol would patiently wait for her outside until she finishes.

Kkamdol does all these even with an injured leg. He would be hopping with three legs as he accompanies his owner. Even in pain, he never wants the grandmother to be alone.

When they get home, the grandmother will clean up Kkamdol with warm water. She would also prepare his food. The way these two are living is very humbling to watch.

The grandmother said that having Kkamdol in her life is the primary source of happiness and strength. That is why she is very concerned with his injury. She would massage the affected leg, but Kkamdol would cry out in pain.

They were brought to the vet to have Kkamdol checked. Kkamdol was treated, and in a few months, he was able to walk with all four legs again. The vet said that the grandmother was a big contributor to his healing, especially when she massages the area.

The grandmother was too humble to take the credit and said that if it was not for the vet, Kkamdol might never have walked normally again. This sweet grandmother and her dog is a testament that you can be contented with a simple life.

They don’t need the fancy things in life. As long as both of them are together, they are happy — such a heartwarming story of a grandmother and her dog.

About The Author

Kathy Morgan

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
