We all have that one friend who loves to photobomb whenever the opportunity presents itself. They like to surprise the subject of each photograph by jumping in just before the shutter clicks. You can never tell how these photos would turn out; that’s why people love to do it.
You’d be surprised to know that humans aren’t the only ones who are into photobombing. As it turns out, dogs have a penchant for it too! Such is the case of a rescued coonhound named Penny, who recently discovered how fun this craft is.
Some things are meant to be
The adorable fluff ball hails from Brockton, Massachusetts. A rescue team from the Northeast Animal Shelter found her along with 11 other puppies in a box placed next to a dumpster in Georgia. All of them were taken to Massachusetts to help them find forever homes.
Deanna Greenstein had just lost Henry, her beloved Boston Terrier, around that time. When she came across Northeast Animal Shelter’s announcement, she decided to have a look at the puppies that were being put up for adoption. She felt an instant connection when her eyes landed on Penny.
Deanna wasted no time in filling out documents so she could bring Penny home that day. To her surprise, the coonhound’s shyness disappeared the moment she met the rest of the Greensteins. She immediately introduced herself to them and invited them to play with her.
Sneaky Penny
The Greensteins love Penny so much that they include her in every family Christmas photo. The pooch was thrilled to be posing with her family that she had a hard time keeping still. This prompted Deanna to exclude her from some of the photos.
Being the clingy dog that she is, Penny insisted on making an appearance in all of the photos. She photobombed as much as she could! Her efforts paid off when Deanna included a lot of photos wither in it on their family Christmas card.
