Rescued Bull Terrier Discovers The Joys Of A Bed For The First Time

Rescued Bull Terrier Discovers The Joys Of A Bed For The First Time

Kathy Morgan March 27, 2020

When Millie, a 7-year-old Bull Terrier, was rescued by Pibbles & More Animal Rescue, not much about her past was known. All that they knew about her was that she had several litters of puppies and that she has not received proper medical care.

Such is the sad reality with most rescued animals.

When Millie began to live with her foster, Jill Stafford, Jill began to learn little by little about the dog.

Jill soon realized that Millie probably never got to experience the normal joys of being in a family.

Like one time, when Jill gave Millie a bone for her to chew on, Millie somehow didn’t know what to do with it.

She picks it up and then moments later, puts it back down, seemingly confused about what to do with the bone.

By observing Jill’s other dog, Mia, Millie was finally able to figure out what to do with the bone. She quickly picked up on what Mia was doing with the bone and started chewing on it.

Jill could only guess that it was Millie’s first-ever bone.

Jill began to discover more and more about Millie with the way she reacts to certain activities and objects.

When Jill introduced Millie to a bed, she was so excited that she went totally nuts when she discovered how soft and comfortable the bed was.

Millie’s reaction to the bed was so adorable that Jill captured it all on camera. She rolled over the soft bed and even wrapped herself with the covers. She definitely seemed happy with her first experience with a bed.

Millie did have a happy ending to her story as she was finally adopted into her forever home where she will be given lots of love and attention that she deserves.

Watch Millie’s sweet reaction to a bed in the video below.

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
