Dogs possess one of the most stubborn natures among all the animals on this planet. Once they set their minds on a task, it’s hard to persuade them to change their minds about it.
Thus, a doting fur mom exhausts all possible means to convince her pet Akita to have her nails trimmed. Though Mom patiently explains to the pooch how important getting a pedicure is, the dog uses delaying tactics to escape from the “ordeal.”

In this funny video footage, an adorable Akita named Akira stands in their dining room. By the looks of it, something caught Akira’s attention as she continues staring towards the camera’s direction.
However, when Akira’s fur mom starts calling out to her, the pooch seems hesitant to follow suit. Though she makes a quick attempt to go towards Mom’s direction, Akira chooses to lie on the floor and ignore Mom’s calls.
It turns out, Akira’s fur mom decides it’s time for the pooch to get her pedicure, which Akira isn’t fond at all. To try and escape from Mom, Akira makes use of every plausible way not to undergo such a procedure.

As the video progressed, Akira adamantly refuses to have her nails trimmed. When Mom persists calling her attention, the stubborn pooch throws a fit to send Mom away.
When this move didn’t scare Mom a bit, the feisty pooch decides to use her paws instead. But, Mom mistakenly took this a sign that the pooch’s acceding to her plans. Before Mom performs anything, Akira saunters away towards the far corner of the room.
