Great Danes may be huge in stature, but they’re typically known as gentle giants. Their size can be intimidating, and their booming bark doesn’t help matters either. However, these dogs are playful and good with children, being affectionate and jolly.
One particular pup named Charley, a goofy dog who still gets startled and scared by a lot of things, recently rose to internet fame. Despite her playful nature, Charley can transform into a guard dog whenever she perceives a ‘threat.’ Her mom, Jessica Mach, jokingly said the silly pooch had saved them from things like candles, baskets, and other stuff she thought shouldn’t be in their house.
A surprise encounter with a leaf blower tested Charley’s protective instincts. Together with her brother Winston, an English Bulldog, they proceeded to ‘attack’ the scary machine. Winston barked at the leaf blower incessantly before Charley chimed in and took a stab at it, resulting in the giant pup’s express ticket to fame.
She faced off with the noisy machine, imitating Winston’s actions. However, the rush of air coming from the blower started to play with Charley’s jowls, resulting in a hilarious imitation of what they thought was a stingray or dinosaur. Jessica couldn’t help but laugh at Charley’s funny face, capturing the moment to share with their friends.
The video showed how Charley’s jowls flared and flapped around as the air blew at her cheeks. Her sparkling white teeth made her look funny and scary at the same time.
What Jessica didn’t expect was for the video to go viral. She was amazed for fast people started sharing it online, coming up with funny memes and joking about how Charley looked like familiar creatures seen on TV or the movies. She was like the Demogorgon from ‘Stranger Things’ or the alien from ‘Predator.’
The internet definitely fell for Charley’s charming and goofy face.
