When This Puppy Attempted To Break Out Of Her Playpen, She Was Caught In The Act Of Doing So

When This Puppy Attempted To Break Out Of Her Playpen, She Was Caught In The Act Of Doing So

Kathy Morgan May 5, 2023

Meet Mia, a lovely six-month-old dog that, like many puppies, has a great deal of excess energy. According to Mia’s pet parent, Christina Rosado, the dog gets into numerous mischief, especially at night. She loves to run and play and frequently gets into things she shouldn’t be in, but she doesn’t always get away with her mischievous ideas.

On occasion, Christina places Mia in a kennel or playpen, but Mia is quick to let her mother know that she dislikes being confined. Mia, according to Christina, is a bright puppy that can quickly escape her playpen or kennel. Once the dog has formulated her plan, she will seize every opportunity to flee.

Christina stated that she once placed Mia in her playpen as she was getting ready to leave the house so that the puppy could sleep while she was away. As she approached her vehicle, Christina immediately realized she had forgotten something. Therefore, she walked back to her residence, and upon entering her kitchen, she observed Mia in the midst of successfully escaping her playpen – the dog was caught right in the very act of escaping!

Mia was expertly balancing herself on top of her playpen’s gate, poised to leap to freedom, when she saw her fur mother standing just in front of her. Christina stated that the look her dog gave her when she realized she had been caught was funny. Mia could not conceal her despair and shame over her unsuccessful escape attempt.

After catching her dog in the act, Christina now understands that her dog attempts to escape whenever she is left alone in the playpen. Despite the lovely dog’s mischievous nature, her family adores her. It is safe to assume that Mia’s family loves her even more due to her active and loving personality.

About The Author

Kathy Morgan

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (of course a lady never shares their age) many years ago. Growing up I could remember always enjoying many pets in our household. From rabbits, hamsters Guinea pigs and dogs I loved them all even to this day. After graduating from High School: I decided to search for my first job. Yep, you guessed it my first job landed me in a pet shop. I learned so much from that experience that twenty years later I am still affiliated with our four-legged friend. I no longer work in a pet shop; but I have devoted my life to writing articles about “man’s best friend” dogs. I hope you enjoy the articles, stories and videos of our furry friends on this website. See you on the inside.
