The majority of dogs are unable to survive without their favorite toy or blanket. And for Theo the bulldog, their favorite thing is a metal bowl.
Theo has had an odd love for metal bowls that he can hold and bring with him and he has had this obsession since he was a puppy. He treats all metal bowls as if they were toys and he is fascinated with each one. It wasn’t doing anyone harm so Theo’s family simply tolerated his peculiar behavior.
When Theo was a puppy, his parents immediately recognized his bowl addiction. Theo would stand with his two front paws in his water bowl. The bulldog would take the bowl and plays with it once he finishes his food. Additionally, the dog would try to spill the water in order to play with the bowl.
Theo’s family decided to get him his own bowls to play with so that he would not continue to spill his water and food. They quickly learned that Theo preferred metal bowls to plastic bowls since the edges of metal bowls are more suitable for biting.
Theo was overjoyed when he was given his bowls to play with. He brings them everywhere he goes. In addition, he has bowls all throughout the home and even outside! It is uncommon for him to be without a bowl.
Playing with these bowls leads them to grow dirty over time. And when that happens, Theo’s family has to take them and place them in the dishwasher.
If Theo sees his bowls being placed in that machine, he will be devastated. He frequently checks that his toys are in excellent condition beside the dishwasher. In order to prevent Theo from becoming overly anxious, his parents would wash the bowls when he is not around.
Theo now has an abundance of bowls, which makes him happy. His family leaves his bowls throughout the home, since he prefers to always have one handy. If Theo cannot locate a metal bowl, he will immediately empty his water bowl before moving it to where he wants it to be.
