Miley, a New Hampshire Labrador, is one of the newest additions to the viral dog community on TikTok after she ate a wild mushroom that she got so high. The video which has now raked in over 18.5 million views showed Miley nodding off in the car seemingly relaxed while Afroman’s ‘Because I Got So High’ played in the background.
As the story went, Miley was with her mom Shannon at a family cottage in New Hampshire when she suddenly exhibited bizarre behavior. According to Shannon, Miley peed in bed which she hasn’t done in so many years. Aside from that, her back legs also did not seem to function properly and she walked kind of weird. She also refused any food or treat and was extremely lethargic.
On top of all of that, Miley also rejected her favorite activity which was boat riding.
Worried, Shannon rushed Miley to the veterinarian to get her checked. There she discovered that Miley’s symptoms were consistent with eating wild mushrooms which had grown around the cottage despite heavy rains. Thankfully, Miley’s vitals were stable and she was only a little high so Shannon was able to take her home that day as long as Miley was thoroughly monitored for any sign of urinary tract infection.
After their short trip to the vet, Shannon filmed Miley who was on the backseat looking so spaced out with a caption saying that she paid $140 just for the vet to tell her that Miley is high. A lot of viewers shared jokes about Miley’s adventure with one even commenting how Miley knew how to party.
Nevertheless, all was good as Miley did not experience any more symptoms. She was just a bit more sleepy and clingy that night and was soon totally back after a few days.
